I'll tell you what all the profession i'm in its hard because everyone wants to make it BIG! I can say that being an Extra does pay well especially being on scene for a few hours can give you lots of pay but the hours has to be flexible meaning you got to be a 24/7 extra.

Currently for my career i know its hard to make it in the UK because its England and all and that i am oriental which makes it harder because they portray orientals as an invisible minority.
There's a story im writing at the moment it could be a book or film script which is about the Imperial family of Vietnam in the 21st Century.
"What if the French did not colonise Vietnam? What if that the Nguyen dynasty is living today under a consitutional monarchy?"

So there will be a royal family and the story would be viewing from the princes angle. I'm getting more ideas but would love to hear yours to collabrate on mine  Cheesy

The industry I am qualified to do is very tough and very stressful. Designing new AI equipment involves too much maths for my liking. My current job is so easy thatr any muppet can do it. It is so easy that I feel guilty getting paid to do it.

I know that being a thespian can be very frustrating as I have heard all this before from a contact of mine. He was struggling at first and now he has appeared in Band of Brothers, The Bill, and a few major movies like Tomb raider, Alexander. I can have been an extra for Alexander if I could ride a horse and could spare 6 weeks. Unfortunately I couldn't commit, beside the film bombed at the box office.

I think that my contact would be on the look out for extras if his clients requires them. My contacts specialises in military theme, so unless Ultimate force (Ross Kemp) require a storyline that involves fighting in the far eastern territory he may not require you background. He maybe working on film project now as we speak. I haven't seen him for 3 years and haven't seen his mother who I know better for 2 years.

If I see him and find out what he is working on and require, I post it for you to see. I will probably catch up with him before the end of the year, so fingers cross that he may have a project that may suit you.

You could also show a little leg to the casting directors. Would you scoop low enough for sexual favours to get a job?

There is saying that "It is not what you know, but who you know"

Good luck to you. Looking forward to see you name in lights in the near future.
