Hi yall, honestly I'm really lazy to post, but as looking at the forum post number it really makes me sad

hixhix, so here is a nice story for those interested in this language.
Viet people originally speak Chinese over a thousand years ago. They have been dominated by Chinese culture and power. Many heroes have been revolted against the hatred Chinese power, but they all ended up losing. Until later, a man named Nguyễn Huệ (Ngun Hue) pushed all the Chinese ruling class back to where the border is now. After that, a Nguyen dynasty had ruled Vietnam until the French domination. At this particular moment, Viet culture and language has taken a great change. They started dressing western styles. Likewise, their language has been moderated into Roman letters. Nowadays, Viet students usually encountered some words that they would not be able to tell its meaning. Mainly because they are Vietnamese-Chinese based or they sometimes call "Hán Việt"
For exp: In plain Viet we called clouds is Mây, in Hán we say Vân
Personal experience: Honestly guyz I do not really care about Han Viet edition because they are always used in Poetry or Old Literature, and heck no I bet no one of us would ever like to read those books lol.
Peace guyz
