I'm just wondering right...because I know in my heart that I follow the freedom flag...not the communist one...(the one that's all red with a yellow star in the middle)...


I'm just wondering with all the viets that uses this forum...which do you follow or recognise? Members in you family?

Because my family are freedom followers

yea all of my family belong to the South Vietnamese Army . If not i wouldn't be Here in the U.S chi Baby_Ticklish. :)

I don't know...I had a flash back earlier in the day when a few months ago we celebrated this rememberance day for the Vietnam War and the Vietnamese leaders here in Sydney in my area usually have the Freedom flag on the post...and the government banned us from waving that flag saying that we should use the right flag and stuff...so it really hurt cos my parents were freedom supporters...

Over here we use the yellow with three red stripes, as our flag, lol.
We don't use the communist flag.

i totally follow the yellow w/red stripe flag.....where i live, if anyone dare to openly run around w/ a communist flag...they're screwed!!! have you guys/gals heard of the Tran Troung Video Store incident?  :wink: ...happened in Orange County

Oh Trang u live in Orange County? LOl i live in Los Angeles i alway go Santa Ana and yea u're screwed if u hold the red flag yellow star there lol . i see the yellow 3 red strip everywhere here in the US espeacially Orange County also known as Little Saigon  :D  proud of our ppl.

I remember when I went to viet school when I was younger...on my text book there was a pic of the country (VN) and the freedom flag design on it....I didn't know that my whole school was all freedom students...and I asked my teacher and my parents and they explained everything...I was so into it...especially when they talked about their experience during the war...

THe communist flag is just a red flag with a yellow star in the middle, i think you can picture that in your head  :wink:

I'm 20...But I grew up listening to stories about freedom fighters and the communist war...
